Can the above two characters duo any 40+ dungeons? The druid is
feral/restore, the warrior is MS build. Neither have any really good gear.

What if the warrior is level 60?

The druid is leveling a priest alt while waiting for me to catch up, would
a 60 priest(shadow/disc) + 60 warrior be better?

Hrm. To be honest, I don't think so. The heaviest thing I can imagine with
this duo to do realistically is SM Cathedral.
I've done Maraudon (orange & purple) with a 60 hunter once. I had full blue
level 52+ gear including a few goodies (for example 2 armor trinkets), and
the hunter was full BM specced and well played (Babe, comment Smile. We made
it, but it wasn't exactly like a walk in the part (speaking about the last
bosses for both instances). If you don't want to do the whole thing, I'd
suggest to try that out first.
Inner Uldaman (where the mobs are over level 40) *could* work too. Up to
the room with the 4 stone guards. Endboss? No way.
ZF trash mobs might be doable too. End bosses? Nope, I don't think so.

A quite big problem is that in this duo, the druid should have his back
free to heal when required. But if the druid does as much damage as
possible when he's not healing the warrior won't have a chance to hold
aggro.

> What if the warrior is level 60?

It will be better Smile But I still can't imagine anything higher than
orange/purple Maraudon and maybe even Uldaman, and those two will be a
challenge. But you could still prove me wrong.

If I was you, I'd try it out SM Cathedral first, and then Uldaman (because
Uldaman starts easy and gets a lot harder till the end). You should try to
make the very best of your team. Work together. When the warrior is almost
dead and the druid oom, let the druid go bear and taunt the mobs away from
the warrior so he can bandage. Stuff like that.

It could be better due to mind control, but as far as I know that's a risky
thing.

I think you need three people to click on the little altar in the center.

Well, the druid can solo farm SM Cathedral, so that's no problem. We've
also gotten to the place with the 4 stone guardians in Uldaman but we can't
start the fight for some reason.

Usually it goes like, druid tanks, frenzy regen/bash to heal, or warrior
taunt to give druid time to heal, rinse and repeat.

You need 3 people to activate the statue :-/
But if you got that far I'd be optimistic. Next thing I'd try out was ZF,
mainly because that's an instance where you can use the druids crowd
control (roots). I would try to enter ZF, and go the right way (to the
witch doctor guy) - you should be able to do the stairs event. Fighting
Bly and his bunch will most likely be very hard, but maybe you can
arrange to let some of them die (not the goblin, you need him) before
they turn hostile. After that you could try the "official" end boss
(whose name escapes me at the moment). If you got Bly down, you should
be able to get him too.

I'd try to let the warrior go defensive stance (but still equipping a 2h
weapon) and let the druid fight in cat form. The 10% (?) damage the
warrior looses in defensive stance is easily compensated by the
increased amount the druid does in cat form - but as long as the warrior
isn't 60, it's most likely no option..
If you're both tauren, you can do nice stuff with warstomp - especially
when the druid has all the aggro but needs to set off a heal or two. Let
the warrior do the stomp at the second the druid shifts out, and the
druid has 2s to cast without being uninterrubted.
And having 300 bandaging would help too.

You need to activate the shrine in the middle of the four guardians, then
they will attack one after the other. The only problem is that you need
three people to activate the shrine, so you won't be able to do this.

Do you need to kill those 4 guys before going on or can you open the door
without fighting them?

Cheers

If I remember right, it requires 4 people at least to wake up the
guardians. *

The door opens once their dead. Frankly, if you can't handle them, then
there's not much after the door worth going for - some packs of golems and
dwarfs, and then Archaedras which is a lot harder than the 4 golems.
