Hello,
I'm trying to play Legend of Dragoon on my PS2. I have a memory card
that works for many other games, but when i try to save my Legend of
Dragoon game on it, the game says there is no memory card inserted in
slot one. But it is inserted in slot one. There is room on the memory
card, as I deleted several older saves, and I can access the memory
card through the PS2 when no game disk is in the tray, so it seems that
memory card is working properly. Does any have any idea how I get the
game to recognize the memory card so that I can save the game?
Any thoughts, anyone?

PS1 games require a PS1 memory card. You can move saves from a PS1 card
to a PS2 card for storage purposes, but you'll need to put them onto a PS1
card if you want the PS1 game to be able to use them.
PS1 cards are still available at your local video game store. As with PS2
cards - spend the extra money and buy aSony brand card. Non-Sony cards
seem to have a nasty tendency to flake out, causing loss of data and
extreme user stress. >> Stay informed about: Legend of Dragoon, PS2, memory card problem |
