LotRO pre-order...patching... - Geez, why didn't anyone tell me I was looking at a day of patching to check this game out?? Not sure what the purpose was in my buying the pre-order DVD, as it appears that every file involved must be obsolete. It's updating nearly 10,400 files for..

48 Hour special at GoGamer (www.gogamer.com) is Lord of the Rings Online
$37.90, Special Edition is $44.90.Other games of note are Infernal at
$24.90, Warhammer 40,000:Dawn of War Gold Edition at $14.90, Everquest:
Planes of Power at $1.90, UFO Afterlight $19.90, and the Movies at $7.90
(couple of other Sims and American Idol game also on special as well as
Z-Boards).

The only I recommend is Dawn of War cause it has no need for disk
inserted when playing but only after applying the official patch that
is available, I think its 1.50

Actually, LOTRO has no need for the disk once you install it. Of course,
neither does Half-Life 2, but I won't start that pissing match with you...
