Ever cap a nintendo power supply? Is it worth it? - Debating on capping a nintendo power supply or just getting a switcher kit. What's the consensus here? Is it worth the cap kit? Should I brave it or not waste the time? John
Needed: Testing/Repair for WG 8107 power supply pcb - Have a monitor power supply board for an Area 51 that is suspect. Game plays blind, but tube doesn't glow. Checked fuses. Previous owner pointed a spot that could be related or the culprit itself....the large black cap (C103) touched the metal..
Williams Power supply 18K 25v cap replacement Question - Can you replace the 18,000uf 25v cap with a 15,000uf 25v snap cap if wired correctly? I'm thinking of doing this as the 18k cap is hard to find. Has anyone tried this? John
TECH: Bally/Midway BurgerTime Monitor - My lovely BurgerTime has gone on the fritz since moving into our new home. Game worked perfectly and nothing unusual happened during its move into the new location. Now when I fire up the game, the screen constantly scrolls to the left. The picture.. |
