I've updated our entry to move our starting date to 1983 rather than '84
(actually I think BUTT started then as well, a couple of months after
us, but for now anyway we're clearly the oldest existing group).

It's very interesting though not necessarily reliable.

Anyone know of any more descendant groups from DUTT? Cambridge TT and
Dark Dawn, as well as a 1991 spin-off called Arrows and Barrows that
I've never heard of (though it seems to have been a parent of Wyrd
Weavings, which is in turn a parent of Midgard - strange how things come
full-circle), were in already, and I've added EH. Anyone know of
others? I'm just jealous 'cos Birmingham TT has more than us Wink

Reliable? The way I'm looking at it, it links TT to Mind's Eye Theatre.

I've heard of a fair few systems, but none of them actually ran so I
don't think they count.

No, that's an optical illusion. In fact no group claims to be either a
parent or descendant of MET Smile The line which appears to go from DUTT
to MET in fact goes behind the MET box to Eleventh Hour.

*nods*. Dark Dawn ran one event. EH has been pretty successful. CUTT
has been at it a couple of years now. And as I say, apparently there
was something called Arrows and Barrows which ran from '91 through to
about '96, which I can now find nothing about. I can't think of any
others.

Did Nathan not do that? Nathan did something with Sam, I thought.

Just like Si to talk his own role up - bet he was just a
helper ref!

Yes.

Si wrote the rules system (AFAIK) and helped ref. Sam and Matt also
reffed. And there were hopping vampires of doom.

One of the classic moments of that event to my mind was when some of
us who were guarding the door to the house went off a little to
skirmish with some goblinoids, only to return to the door just in time
to see a hopping vampire make the final hop along the wall to bring it
level with the door.

Hop! it turned 90 degrees to face the open doorway.

Hop! it went over the threshold

cue many screams from the inside of the house and through the window
we see the rest of the characters run past, followed by the hopping
vampire.
