Since you had such a good reason then, of course, all will be forgiven and
forgotten.

P.S. When do you want to collect on your "hugs and kisses"?

Sorry, I forgot about your vast intellect. Between you, Bill, and
Bret, I bet your combined intellects exceed well over 3 digits.

>Later fanboy

"You'll take my life but I'll take yours too
You'll fire your musket but I'll run you through
So when you're waiting for the next attack
You'd better stand, there's no turning back.

The bugle sounds, the charge begins
But on this battlefield no one wins
The smell of acrid smoke and horses breath
As we plunge on into certain death.

ohhhhhh ohhhhhh!

The horse he sweats with fear, we break to run
The mighty roar of the Russian guns
And as we race towards the human wall
The screams of pain as my comrades fall

We hurdle bodies that lay on the ground
And the Russians fire another round
We get so near, yet so far away
We won't live to fight another day.

ohhhhh ohhhhhh!

We get so close, near enough to fight
When a Russian gets me in his sights
He pulls the trigger and I feel the blow
A burst of rounds take my horse below.

And as I lay there gazing at the sky
My body's numb and my throat is dry
And as I lay forgotten and alone
Without a tear I draw my parting groan"

Usually it's only a trickle of emails each month that are generated by
http://follies.werewolves.org/

The last few days it's been an avalanche. I'm sure it must be the Freespace
stunt that Derek pulled. If you do a Google on Derek Smart the first two
entries are the above site but, I suspect that most of the visits are due to
people providing links. I'm going to have to put a visit counter back on
the site.

Don't be too sure -- I've never been tested, but my wife seems pretty
certain that my IQ is an irrational number.

Can you send me some of that green bud? It must be good
Why else would someone try singing in a text only newsgroup.

Fascinating. Is it, like, 4.5 / NaN? Or the other way around? =)

The computer speak, NaN, is a super set that includes irrational numbers.
Plus I think if you stir irrational numbers around properly then you can
sometimes get rational numbers out. Whereas a NaN pretty much contaminates
everything that it touches.

Okay you can all claim a mathematics Master's degree and a computer science
PhD because I fugure you've all done more work for your degrees than Derek
Smart did for his.
