I was Passing by... - Looooong time since I looked in here... A couple of faces (or names) are :)
Finally got around to reinstalling T1 - ... but for the life of me can't remember the variable to control FOV. 1440x900 is nice on it, but would like the extra vision.
Blogging, 4-04-06 - I'm a real piece of work, I'll tell ya. I bet I don't have three working memory cells left. I've spent the better part of yesterday and today trying to find my pen drive. Still haven't found it. I need the little devil so I can transfer some files..

I admit to not knowing much about how it is outside
the U.S., but the various forms of news media here have
developed an extremely annoying habit over the last
couple of decades or so.
Annoying to ME, but evidently I'm in a minority or
else it wouldn't have continued for so long. Of course,
I'm also not one to buy those tabloid papers (or gossip
magazines) at the checkout stands, as I don't give a rat's
ass what's going on in the lives of any actor or singer.
Oh- the habit: talking about something until I'm so
sick of hearing about it that I'm loathe to turn on the TV.
Seems to me that the less important the subject matter,
the more coverage it gets.
Here's a short list of things/folks I'd be more than
happy to *never* hear about again:
Anna Nicole Smith
Britney Spears
The Donald Trump/Rosie O'Donnell feud
And currently, Don Imus

We truly are in the minority. And I figure it's the same provincial
nosiness and anger that results in a lot of violence around the world. I'll
bet it would take only minor effort to start a shooting war over the
Rosie/Trump feud. (I had to go re-read your post to remember who you said
was feuding. Not that I care who it is, but I'm anal about getting the

Several 'Show News' programs to talk exactly about the issues you hate,
except we don't know Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell; that's a 'merkin
thing.
And I have no clue who Don Imus is.
An hour a day about a Dutch singer you've never heard of (Frans Bauer)
breaking into a giggle-fit while on TV with a director next to him who's
telling some sad story about himself. Gee willikers. Golly. Yeah. Earth
shattering.
