I have been doing some of the Island dailies since my recent
elevation to 70. For some reason I had never done the one where
you plant the banner through the dead body of the demon. Sorry I
can't remember the quest name. I happened to do this on a busy
weekend morning and the repop rate was just ridiculous. I know it
is dynamic, depending on the amount of kills, but damn, it was just
hilarious how those stupid demons would respawn righ on top of
where you are standing. I hate dying due to respawns. Dying due
to bad tactics is one thing, but damn what a pain. >> Stay informed about: Island Dailies Respawn rate |

Personally I wish they would reset the ravagers from time to time. The
hideous glands drop rate is one thing, but having 9 ravagers out of 10
bugged into "Evade" is in a whole different ballpark. Worst daily of
the bunch. >> Stay informed about: Island Dailies Respawn rate |

Nope, having them bugged is a *good* thing, means you can just get the
roots without having to kill all the ones that attack you along the way
It's not hard to find one single ravager that's tameable, and if the rest
are bugged, great, faster quest complete

I agree, but the first time I did this one I wasted a gland on a bugged
ravager. Dang, I was annoyed.

Just walk around til one aggroes on you, then hit it with the gland.
The quest is much more time-consuming of you have to fight all the
ravagers. By the way the glands are durable, in that if you get an
extra you can save for the next day. Likewise for the mana remnant
quest on Quel'Danas.

You can? Whenever I hand the quest in my spare glands disappear, a few
times I've had 2-3 left after completing the quest but they're all gone by
the next day :-/ Only quest item from the dailies which doesn't disappear
is the demonic blood for the HFP ones, everything else won't stay, so far
as I've seen.

Haven't tried with orb or remnants, keys definitely don't... annoying when
I accidentaly pick some up on the wrong character while dualboxing, and
can't even use them next day

Items I am sure keep:
- mana remnants
- demonic blood
Items I am sure don't keep:
- naga keys
Items I haven paid attention to:
- glands
- orbs of murloc control
Items I think you can't get more than needed for one handin
- Atamal armaments
- Nether residue
Can anyone else confirm or expand on this?
Cheers
