I once had a dream where I invented a controller that you could use
for racing where the two halves of it rotated against each other. On
mentioning it to a mate he got one out of a cupboard. I still don't
know if I'd seen one before the dream. >> Stay informed about: Is_the_PSP_really_s |

With custom firmware and all those emulators and homebrew, it's worth
much more than that.

I've no interest in any of that. It's just I have some money left over from
the new receiver and speakers I've priced up and thought a PSP would be
nice[1]. But then I couldn't find it for under a hundred, even though I'm
convinced it *was* under a hundred, and got confused.
£130 with 4 or 5 games, maybe. £130[3], no.
[1] I don't really want one[2], but then, I didn't really want a 360 - it was
money-in-pocket, alone-in-Gamestation that did it.
[2] This is true. If I really wanted one, I'd have one by now to hell with
the price.
[3] I paid almost this much for a GB Micro, even though I insisted that
anything over £40 was too much[4], and I already had a GBA, two GBASPs and a
GBP.
[4] Anything over £40 *was* too much. But it wasn't *too* too much. Anyway,
it's lovely.

I think that in the weeks prior to the Slim & Light appearing, all the
shops did big cut-price deals to shift the stock of the old units (in
much the same way as they did with the DS, 360 Core and 60GB PS3).

gamestop in stockport *were* selling preowned ones for 84.99 + a 2nd
hand game, but now theyve gone back up to 114.99 2nd hand.....which is
a bit of a pisser.
i'd have bought an old style one 2nd hand for 85 quid...if i'd had 85
quid handy at the time, like! >> Stay informed about: Is_the_PSP_really_s |

it's the only way i can see myself buying one, since the price of the
thing just doesnt seem likely to drop for ages, and i dont
particularly want a model that is smaller and even more awkward to
hold. >> Stay informed about: Is_the_PSP_really_s |

In all honesty, I'd quite like a pink PSP. Only so that I can be reminded of
the stupidity of my actions each time I use it.
