I think it was the first desert one. Tiny and the Sniper were the only two
Commandoes, and you had to blow up the water tower and fuel dumps. There was
a truck up top and a mortar. Then escape in a jeep coming in from the top
right hand corner. Remember that one?
I lost sleep over that mission and still can't get it to this day. I don't
remember the mission numbers either, except for that one. I'll never forget
it.

Hahahahaa....Pyrotechnics!!! I still remember that one...
I quite liked it really...they key to defeating that mission was
Tiny's device that makes noise..and his knife...
You had to use a few sniper bullets at key points too....
I thought it was a fun mission...
Though I had trouble with a lot of other ones, this one wasn't that
bothersome...
I used to just put his device next to the wall...and the guard used to
come...and keep facing the wall...you could just walk up to him and
knife him...

Except when the esacape jeep used to scuttle away when the guard post would
fire at it. I think it was a bug -- the only way out was to first eliminate
the guard post, IIRC.

I used to start from the top and eliminate almost everyone that
map....
I've had a few rounds trying to run around the map, on a killing spree
too It was good fun, but you had to move fast before they shot
you...
The Sniper is truly the best in that map...too bad he had limited
bullets...
Blowing up the barrels, after strategically locating them at key
junctions is also an excellent strategy...

Yeah, I had so much trouble with that map. Actually, it was those two gaurds
at the top of the road that gave me the most trouble. I never could get
them. Your right Phoenix, the sniper was the best Commando, just needed a
few more bullets.
I hang my head in shame.........I got beat there.

Did you try putting Tiny's noise maker just in range of one guard, so
he gets lured away and then snipe him?
The other guard can be taken out any which way..
Not all of it is stealth, you know
Sometimes, you just have to be out in the open and pump some quick
bullets in a guard's head...

Those two at the top of the road couldn't be lured away if I remember
correctly. And going in with guns blazing brought the patrols up. Dunno,
never could seem to time it all just right. It's been so long now since I
played that mission, I forgot how I actually did it now. I know though, that
going through the re-runs, I avoid that mission! ))
I should go back and give it another go.

Heh..now that you mention it, you are right....they couldn't be lured
away..
I wonder how I did it...I really can't seem to remember now...probably
a shot to a barrel somewhere...
or snipe them...but thats using 2 precious bullets..
I gave up playing BEL a long time ago cos it ran too fast on my
system. And it felt very weird...you couldn't play the game properly
anymore...
