Since I don't know which forums you have on the "official site" I cannot
really answer you.

Do you mean non-official forums, ie not those directly reachable by
forums.worldofwarcraft.com or forums.wow-europe.com (for the EU
counterpart) ?

Or is there a link-list on the official site linking to some off-site
forums ? Unless I see them I can hardly give you a non colliding list of
sites I visit.

Please please please by all means: Do not post to any of those until you
are comfortable with their rules and standards. You do yourself and
others a big favor if you resist posting until you really do understand
the spirit of these forums and people there. Some of them simply
perma-ban you for the first mistake. Sounds extreme and maybe is so, but
they are also some of the best sites out there to get top information.

My favorite:

I have been using their sites since I played Diablo 2, as they have a
Diablo 2 sister-site as well.
