I have been unable to install the Ratatouille game. Whenever I click install,
I get a message that tells me the same version of Canon Utilities Photo print
is already installed. If I click to continue it askes if I want to completely
remove my Canon Utilities Photo Print and its components. I emailed the THQ
software and they suggested I had a problem with the windows installer. I
downloaded the Windows Installer 3.1 KB893803 v2-x86.exe. I installed the Net
framework too. I tried to install again and got the same messages. Anyone
have any idea of what I am doing wrong or what I can?

Hi tirna,

You might have an incomplete installation of your Cananor Utilities.
Try uninstalling them from Control Panel > Add Remove Programs.
Afterwards, try installing your Ratatouille game, it should work fine.

Hi Jimmy,
The items that were installed with the Canon printer were Easy photo print,
Canon photo record, and the IP5000 printer itself. Should I remove all of
them and reinstall after trying to install the Rat game?

Hi tirna,

If you don't have an entry in your add-remove programs list
specifically named: Canon Utilities Photo Print, then yes, go
ahead and delete each component individually.

Clear your temp files (right-click your C: drive, choose Properties then
click on Disk Cleanup. After your HD is scanned, check all boxed except for
the "compress old files" and press OK.) Try to reinstall the game again,
installshield or other installer applications sometimes leave files behind
that can mess up other installations.
