Hi all,

Have older version of Simcity 2000. Can't install on my PC somehow. The
programme says I don't have enough RAM for it, but in fact, I have 163Mb
RAM. Any suggestions what I need to do to install the programme.

It used to work on my Win95 laptop.

Thanks.

Which OS are you using? Isn't compatible with XP.

Hi Mike

I managed to get SC200 up and running on my XP HE machine. OK, the
screen looked a bit weird and I didn't actually try to play the game
as I'd already bought SC4 - but, as said, SC200 did install and run.

Hi JW

Roman Sims? Probably Stone Age Sims. Smile

As I said above, I managed to get SC2000 installed and running but the
display did look a bit strange. I didn't bother investigating further
as SC4 arrived in the post the very next day.

<OT stuff>

I bought SC4 from Dabs <http://www.dabs.com/uk> At the time I was
offered a game from a small list at half the recommended price and
opted for Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 simply because, as a strategy game,
it was similar to Sim City. I'd forgotten all about this game until
last week when I found tge box lurking in a dark corner of my study.
(Organised, eh!) Anyway, I browsed though the manual last night and,
IMO, the game seems extremely similar to Theme Park, a DOS game I had
on my Win3.1 machine more than a few years ago.

One of these days I'll get round to the multi-OS business. Thinking
about it, finding some more dask space and getting my old PCs out of
the cupboard might be easier!

</OT stuff>
