My Installation CD won't work

I bought World in conflict for my son, had my computer upgrade to meet
the specs for the game. My computer won't read the CD. I put in
anyother CD and it reads it. Thinking it was my computer I took the
CD and put it in my very old work laptop and it worked.

Probably due to the copy protection on the cdrom. Or it is a DVD and you
are trying to read it in a cdrom only drive. Either way, you probably
need a new DVD drive to play the game on that PC.
