I'm trying to evolve my Feebas into a Milotic, and I'm beginning to wonder
if I couldn't be a little more effective in terms of Poffin-feeding. My
current tactic of simply feeding it the highest-level Dry Poffins (and it
does like Dry Poffins) I had and working down the ranks isn't really
working, but then my highest-level Dry Poffin, aside from a Level 60 Mild,
is Level 24 and I only have four of them above level 20. Also, they're all
combination Poffins, like Spicy-Dry and Dry-Sweet, and I was wondering if
that had any effect. I don't have any Ganlon Berries, so I've been using
Spelon, Pamtre, Yache, Passho and Chilan berries.

I think I used Wiki berries only. And I did the Poffin making myself
so they weren't great, but I got a Milotic (I don't even think I fed
it all 10 but I could be wrong). I would tell you more about it but I
traded it away. I could make another one I guess, I grew extra Wiki
berries (I have 50 right now) and they are only Dry. I think in
Sapphire I used Palmtre berries (again alone) because I couldn't get
Wiki berries. And looking at the different tags Palmtre berries
should do the job quicker. I wouldn't bother with Yache, Kebia or
Coba berries, they give the same amount as Wiki (one tick where the
Palmtre is two).
Why are you still waiting for a Spiritomb? You get them low level
(12?) and I had mine long before I had 8 badges. Talk to the guy at
before the city gate (way down at the bottom of the screen by a Honey
tree) near the Berry Master's house (Hearthome city?) for the item you
need. I keep digging them up in the Underground (Odd Keystone?) and
the hole in the ground is between Hearthome and Solceon in the
corner. But you know all this. So why are you still waiting to catch
it?

Pamtre only, huh? I'll have to try that.
As for Spiritomb, I'm pretty sure it's more complicated than sticking the
Odd Keystone into the Ruined Tower. From what I understand, I have to talk
to 45 "different" people in the Underground AND use the Odd Keystone on the
Ruined Tower to get Spiritomb to appear. If I don't get him the first time,
I'll have to get another Odd Keystone and talk to another 45 people.
Fortunately, I can just talk to the same guy 45 times by going in and out of
my Secret Base, which is good since I only know one other person with a
version of this game. I'm not sure if 45 is the right number, though, but
I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in that neighborhood.

I guess I forgot that part. I talked to the same guy (well actually I
borrowed his DS and game and talked to myself so it was easy (too
easy?)). Then I bred them and I think I have one from the Global
thingy. And like Weirdwolf, I could give you one. You are on the
West Coast right (for time zone purposes)? I think that makes me 3
hours ahead of you (when I am at noon you are at 9 am). My friend
code is 2148 5480 4929.

Eh... Despite all the Wi-Fi stuff, I, perhaps ironically, want to catch this
one myself. I don't know why, but I guess since they went through all the
trouble to give it such unique appearance requirements I might as well humor
them. That didn't stop me from getting a Feebas off the GTS, but I played
it their way in Sapphire and that's good enough for me.

Ah, The luxury of being in the U.S.!
We still haven't had any news of when a Darkrai event may be and the
deoxys give away this/next weekend has rather rubbed it in. Of course
because we have no way of even seeing them we can't look for them on the
global trading mechanism.
Did you get a darkrai or deoxys? If so what are they like?

I have a Darkrai, but I haven't picked up Deoxys yet. I have all weekend
for the latter, though. As for what Darkrai's like, I haven't actually used
it yet. I've been focussing on Berry Farming and training my Pokemon for
the Elite Four, so I haven't taken the time to see how it handles.

Congrats! And I do understand about both Feebas and Spiritomb. I
guess I did the same thing.
I have a question about Deoxys and Darkrai. If you battled with me or
Ted (or any of the rest of us with no hope of ever getting them
because we aren't in the States) with them in your line up, do we get
them registered as seen so we can get them from the GTS (do they have
to appear in the battle is the other part of course)? Or is there a
difference in battling Wi-fi and battling in person (whatever that is
called)?

I don't think seeing them over a link battle counts, but I'm not entirely
certain.
And I just got my Milotic today. Whee!
