After serval attempts to install Flight Simulator X, I don't have an Icon to
start the program, nor do I see an .exe file. Install did not create a
Microsoft Games directory in my program list. Can you help?

Are you using Vista? You can check the Games Explorer to see if it is in
there. Is there a C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FSX\ directory? Is it a
default installation (or did you customize it)?
