Until the expansion comes out in a couple of weeks, what mods have people
found worthy of downloading? Personally, I rarely install mods unless I am
sure they can integrate seamlessly into the game - there's nothing worse
than an obvious lack of parity in the quality of some parts compared to
others.

Having said that, I've dabbled with Improved Roads, and the Lost Wonders mod
is OK, I guess (though neither is perfect).

I am enjoying Sevomod. It adds quite a bit to the game. For Civ3 I
played Rise and Rule mod and it was great. I don't think Sevomod is up
to that level yet. I have only played a couple of other mods so don't
know how the Sevomod stacks up against all the others available.

ive been using BarbarianCiv alot lately.... 2-4 civs (i think) are NOT
setted when the game starts, but Barb cities that are left long enough can
turn into Civ's (along with a gift of settlers and units) these newly found
civs can infact REALLY punish poorly defended Civs in supprise attacks as
there strengh is made to be 25% of the strongest civ (i think) so that can
mean these new civs are stronger than some of the smaller civs on the map!!
