Horde AH/ Alliance AH

So, i make gold by the auction houses. Best way is to have three
characters and a friend. Park one by each type of auction house and a
friend at the goblin house. Then buy from Horde what sells more in
Alliance, and buy in Alliance what sells more in the Horde. Use the
friend to purchase the auctions (token price, like one copper), to get
them out of the Goblin AH quickly, and because you cannot buy an
auction put up by the same account.

So, what does sell more?

Horde usually has lesser numbers, which means rares are rarer, and will
cost more. However, farmers who use the AH seems to prefer Horde,
making farming items cheaper in the Horde. And, with lesser demand,
prices have to stay low.

For example, Felcloth (and mooncloth). Felcloth must be farmed, in a
boring fashion. Farmers sometimes drop bunches of it. So, it may be a
half a gold each cheaper Horde-side. I can expect to pay (without the
great find) 2G per Felcloth Horde-side, and 2.5G Alliance side.
Mooncloth is about 9-10 Horde-side, and 13-15 Alliance side.

For things that people get anyway, like the twilight wrappings, it is
cheaper Alliance side, like 50-75S each, yet Horde side 1-1.5G.

Savory Deviate Delight is something Horde find more, because the
Barrens is a Horde questing area, so they'll be there more and find it
anyway. Usually sells Horde-side 10-20G, Alliance side about 30G.

So, it's good to find out what is farmed specifically (cheaper
Horde-side), what is found en-route (cheaper Alliance side), what is
specific to a faction that the other side wants (Black Tabby is Horde
drop, sells well Alliance side) (White Kitten has it's takers by the
softer Horde), and what is found just by being there (Horde finds
Savory Deviate Delight more often). Sunday is always the best night to
sell, as more people are on.

And one thing i learned the hard way. Do not put all stock at once when
undercutting. Unless if is super deal that'll be snatched the moment
someone sees it, it'll cause other sellers to sell it for cheaper too,
driving down the price. That's great for the customer, but not to
someone trying to work the AH.

So, here's off the top of my head, things that sell other side for
more.

Horde - Black Tabby, Black Snake (snake vendor), Scorpid Suprise
(vendor), Savory Deviate Delight (rare drop), Felcloth, Mooncloth,
Thorium Bar

Alliance - White Kitten (rare spawn), Twlight Cultist cloth (all
three), high level epics.

The epics can usually be bought in the trade channel, offer the person
1/2-3/4 of what Allakhazam says it's worth, and many people will take
the gold just so they don't have to deal with selling it anymore. This
seems to happen more Alliance side.

I haven't tried it yet, but Chromatic Scales seems to sell for ~25G
Alliance side at times, and 30-40 Horde side.

I've found the best way (not cheapest) is to have two accounts and two
computers. That way, I can do all the trading myself and don't have to
depend on someone else to help me.

Another advantage to having two computer and accounts is that you can
make your own 2 man groups by playing two characters at once. Once you
get the hang of it, It makes grinding elites like black dragonkin much
easier.
