We've been continually cleaning out closets and drawers,
and one item I made Ross that he has never used and wants
to give away is a heavy scarf I made him.
He says he'll never be cold enough here to use it, especially
since I added "pockets" at the two ends that you can stick your
hands into. No way it gets that cold here.
Would you like it? You're the first person I thought of, since
you sail out even in the dead of winter. Brrrr......
If so, just shoot me a snail mail addy to miracle at spamcop dot net
and I'll get it in the mail.

Miracle, which state are you from? I had a feeling it was Texas, but I'm
sure the post mark on the lovely Easter card you sent (the kids loved the
rabbit with wobbly eyes) had an Arizona post mark? >> Stay informed about: Hey Spanner- |

Yup, I'm in lovely <snicker> Arizona. Yuma, to be exact, which is
in the very most southwestern corner of the state, bordered by both
California and Mexico.

In all seriousness, the moment I saw the desert I fell in love
with this state. Arrived in January of 1981 and haven't left. Well,
not the state- I lived in Sells for the first 4 years, then moved to
Yuma in April of 1985, where I've stayed.
House ain't so much a bunker, but you're right about the guns.
Yesterday our Governor signed a bill into law, which contains a
new "castle" provision: we Arizonians now have the right to assume
that anyone breaking into our homes, businesses, or vehicles has
harming us as an intended component of their crime, so we are now
legally capable of fighting back with such force as we deem neccessary.
IOW: Shoot first, ask the questions later. Damn, how can you NOT
love this place?!?!? (She asked facetiously.)

Lucky you. Can I park my van at your house? I'm out $200 this month
replacing a window some urchin decided to smash out in the middle of the
night. They didn't take anything inside, far as I can tell, so it was just
vandalism. The worst part was that it was Saturday night on a rainy weekend
and I couldn't get an appointment to get it replaced until Tuesday. I duct-
taped some cardboard over the opening and brought in what I thought was
attractive to grab. >> Stay informed about: Hey Spanner- |

Hey, let's trade domiciles for a couple of weeks- you vacation
here, staying in our home, and we'll holiday at your house!
You wouldn't happen to be up near Manchester, would you?
