Something strange with Hearse... I can't connect with server or even
open any page of the website, but as I search in Google I can see that
the website is active in the cached Google versions of
hearse.krollmark.com, with updates in January and February 2008.
I use Firefox for web browsing, but even with Internet Explorer the
page won't display. My firewall conf hasn't been changed, I deleted
cookies and temp files with CC Cleaner, and I know not what else I can
do.... I know itīs not only this PC because I tried to connect to the
website with the browser of my Palm Tungsten C and the site didn't
open either.
Any Suggestions, similar problem in the past, or advice??? >> Stay informed about: Hearse Server Down?? |

I use the Hearse client and connection works fine.

The hearse server has been down before. I don't see what your googling is
supposed to prove; a problem with the physical server won't really affect that
(Google isn't realtime).

The server is running, so it sounds most like a DNS resolution problem
on your side if you can't view the website. Does that help any? >> Stay informed about: Hearse Server Down?? |

First make sure you *are* connected to the internet and can access other
DNS' or URLS. Then try in a dos/command shell:
ping hearse.krollmark.com
if you get unknown DNS, then talk to your IP, they're fouling up. If you
get no response, it's down.

You are right, I can connect from my home internet connection (ping
and connection with the server) but not from my office's one. Well,
today is Saturday so I will try to fix it on Monday, assuming it's a
DNS problem. I'll keep you informed. Thanks a lot!!
