Will Any Old Hard Drive Work In A Megatouch Force?

I have a Megatouch Force 2003.5 game where the hard drive appears to have
locked up. I picked up a cheap Force 2005 upgrade kit (disks and security
key) on eBay to add some new games but will still need to replace the hard
drive also. Does the drive have to be an exact replacement of the Maxtor
drive that was in there, or will any old used hard drive of sufficient
capacity I might have lying around work? Does anybody have a used,
pre-loaded Force 2005/2005.5 drive they are looking to unload?

Hello.

As long as it's 2005.5 or newer, you are fine using any drive. It's
gotta be like 6 gigs or larger though. If you don't have the 05.5
disk, then you MUST have a Merit drive. I sell brand new 05.5 drives
for $60. Thanks!
