Trying to fix a Polo for a 25" monitor. This guy's brother worked on it
first. He did a cap kit and replaced the flyback as the first one was
toast. Nice job on cap kit, found a loose solder joint on a big resistor
but otherwise okay. Comes up with bad voltage and power supply section
is clicking. It keeps frying the HOT and after checking everything else
in the circuit. I'm thinking it may have the wrong flyback in it. So, I
do a Google search and after chasing it down a few different ways, turns
out the guy does have the wrong flyback in it. He put one in for the
MTC9000. Part number HR7191.

No easy cross for it but it came up as a 1242 5001 which I found on an
Italian site listed as for the 9000. Only posting this here for people
foolish enough to work on a Hantarex (Chad) to perhaps keep them from
pulling their hair out as I just about did.

Hopefully this will solve the issue and I can get this beast out of here.

I Hear ya... it's truly a love hate relationship with the polo's...
they can turn into a real nightmare overnight. Ive had awesome success
with them awhile back although. The wrong component fiascos can really
keep you running in circles if you don't spot them right away. Just
had a d9200 with all sorts of wrong stuff in place.
