Halo 2 "Insert CD"????

A few days ago I bought Halo 2 for PC, but I've run into a problem.

After the cutscene where the Arbiter is betrayed by Tartarus, I get an error
message saying "Please insert your original Halo 2 CD". This is weird since
the disk is in the drive on my computer.

If I click continue,I end up back a the main menu, and if I try to continue
the campaign, it takes me back to my most recent saved checkpoint, so cannot
advance any furthur.

Anyone know how to fix this?

If you have more than one optical drive, try the other one..

If you haven't done so already, please make sure to post
this issue to the Microsoft.Public.Windows.Vista.Games
newsgroup which is available on this server.
