Post subject: Half - Life 2 is a very bad game imho

| I have played it through, and to be honest it really sucks. Half-life 2
episode one is somewhat better but it´s not good either. I know several
people with this very same opinion about Half-Life 2 who have played it
through. There´s so many good fps shooter games out there, and there´s so
many ways Half-Life 2 could have been made better.

And to think I was deluded enough to believe I enjoyed it. Thanks for
opening my eyes to how bad it really is. Maybe you should contact
metacritic and tell them their score of 96 is completely wrong so
other people aren't taken in.

Real-Life 1
Nonlinear game with unexpected results and many different endings depending
on your decisions throughout the game
It's a game which take ages to play even if you play it several hours every
day - and best of all it's free
Patches are available in various conditions but these come with a heavy
price tag
fx
Bachelor
Girlfriend
Wife
Mistress
Child
Some of the patches are a bit odd and unable to uninstall - but all are
great fun to play

For a linear game, I found HL2 to be much better than most at "hiding" its
linearity. After HL2 I went onto Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, which felt
worse even though there were occasions where there were a couple of routes

The question is : why is half-life 2 so linear ? there is only one way to
walkthrough it, and it takes a long time. Most games are actually linear
because otherwise
