Another problem with CTD's, HL2 / Source stuff. ALL of it. - This rig is pretty beefy. It's been really stable too. Except for stuff. Turns out, it's audio that has been the problem. I've been running HL2 on this X2 rig from git go with no problem. HL2 and Source were fairly mature..

To all, Steam updated recently and now my PC freezes and goes into a sound loop 5 min into a game AMD2800 Athalon 2Gig ram HIS x1950 Video board (AGP) with 512MB of ram. 300GB hard drive space.
