Couple of pointers:
- Always make the banker an alt of the Guild Leader.
- The bank alt should be able to disenchat unwanted stuff that is not
sellable (odd stats).
- The banker should keep a mail log. Nothing fancy - just an exercise book
with names, dates and items incoming/outgoing will do.
- The Guild Leader should never share his or her account. Obvious - but
often overlooked.
- The banker should be checked often, preferably daily.
- Include the details of the banking arrangements in the guild info page so
anyone can look it up at any time.
- Officer notes on guild members should include tradeskills to help with
distributing.
I solo often when not PvPing with my guild, so used to send all the greens I
can't use to the guild bank. I then found out he can't disenchant so now
have to be careful only to send items through which are usable/sellable. The
disenchat trash I now send directly through to our budding enchanter.
