Too much white meat. Don't feed it before you fly it, and if you do,
wait one hour. Also, never, ever stand under its tail. Don't say you
weren't warned.

Lol, using the hull as a brake would make it stop pretty fast!
The Goose is an Amphibian, so its got wheels and brakes!
I've was having hassle with the Cub believe it or not. I just kept
ground looping it all over the place. I read up in the help about
flying/landing taildraggers which is slightly harder than tricycles, so
perhaps you should have a read of the notes Nicolaj?

Smile It's worth a look Quilly. the FS9 version is fully flyable from the
VC and all instruments are clear to read. From what I've seen of the FSX
version it's much better. Sort of like the Maule, close to payware quality.

For anyone who doesn't have FSX, there is an excellent FS9 Goose by
Bill Lyons in the AVSIM file library; used to be payware, one of my all
time favorites.

I didn't know it could land on land, I thought it only had floats. This
might explain the problem?

Actually, it's an amphibious flying boat. Rather ungainly and
front heavy on land. Check here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grumman_Goose

Tail-draggers can nose over if braking too hard at high speed,
especially the nose heavy ones. It's best to hold full up
elevator and pulse the brakes after tail wheel contacts the
ground until down to taxi speed.

Thanks boB,
I haven't ried the Goose yet. I will wait until my new machine arrives. I
can fly stuff OK on my present one, but it takes too long to load up and to
change airfields etc.
