Today I got another invitation to go to a community lot and decided to
accept and go to the same restaurant as I had gone to with Don and Nina. The
sim did not get seated automatically and had to order manually as well. So
far so good.
Managed to make best friends with the greeter while at the restaurant. When
the group was leaving I got the message that 30% of the meal was comped
"because you're such a good friend".
I'm not quite sure what happened with Don's group in the end (the 21 month
old decided I had had enough simming and pressed the power button - there
was much wailing and gnashing of teeth on my part, but you can't blame a kid
for being a kid and touching the "blinky light"...) but I suspect that the
automatic seating and ordering was because he had woohooed the greeter, so
they were best friends and she probably had a crush on him (can't remember
if pink hearts flew for her or not when Don was working up to the big event
in the hot tub).
