Continuing with my stat-obsessed series of threads ...
I thought people may be interested to know that, since last week, AGNP
has been promoted from a Low-Activity group to a Medium-Activity group
on Google. To my knowledge, this is the first time AGNP's been rated
Medium-Activity in at least two years.
Hurrah for activity!

I love Tim's doughnuts but I am not a fan of their coffee. I still
drink it of course, basically because somehow it's the only thing
available in some smaller towns. I prefer Country Style coffee.
Every now and again my darling goes on a kick where he will give up
coffee, so we still drink a whole lot of tea.
I thank you for your efforts, and I am in no rush. Have fun at/
with your daughter.

we travelled around a lot so they were used as an excuse to get out and
stretch our legs and grab a drink. I ended up drinking the huge carton
sizes because the tea in Canadia was uniformly appaling. Remember folks
it's warm the pot and poor boiling water directly onto the tea in the
pot. DO NOT serve it as luke warm water with a tea bag next to it.

I was going to do the rest this evening but last time I spoke to her my
daughter requested that I send her some of my cakes. So I am now baking
enough batches, hopefully, for her and her friends.
She doesn't know that I am going to see her yet, I though I would
surprise her by just walking into the classroom with the teacher.

Ya, that is the way of most places and it sucks. There are some good
places, and even Tim's has started a Steeped Tea (I think they use the
coffee maker, and just put teabags in the coffee basket., but maybe
it's a whole new machine). In our house we have gotten much lazier
and nuke it in the microwave. Although if I am drinking it I do the
water in the mivrowave and then pour it over the tea bags. Sometimes.

That will be a nice surprise for her. Especially if you come
bearing yummy, yummy baked goods.

w00t! I've sort of lost touch with Newsgroups and also with Pokemon. I never
really got far into XD: Gale of Darkness. I will eventually complete it one
day. I haven't even got into any of the DS games. In fact, I haven't really
been playing any video games lately. Am I missing much by not playing
Diamond and Pear? For some odd reason I don't have any impulsive urge to go
out and buy the games. >> Stay informed about: Group Activity |

Yeah, I looked it up, and was very embarassed by it. So I'd discourage
anyone else from doing the same.

I can understand that. I never caught the final Pokémon in it. Then again,
it wasn't a part of the series proper.
> I haven't even got into any of the DS games. In fact, I haven't really
> been playing any video games lately. Am I missing much by not playing

To be honest, yes, you are. They're the first new all-new RPGs since Ruby
and Sapphire, thanks to the FL remakes and Emerald as a third installment.
Colosseum and Gale of Darkness largely passed by the radar, and didn't make
much of a dent in the group discussions. But it's all gone Diamond and
Pearl now; genuinely new games, and very good ones at that.
> For some odd reason I don't have any impulsive urge to go out and buy the
> games.
A lot of people have reported something similar. Diminishing interest after
years of remakes and not-quite-what-we-want games. The group was very quiet
between 2005 and a few months ago - meaning that after interest in Ruby and
Sapphire died, not much rekindled it until now.
