Hi,
I just wanted to share with everyone my company, Goozex.com, that
started last month that allows users to trade games with each using a
point system. Receiving games only costs $1. All trades are
guaranteed.
If you signup and complete a trade you'll receive 100 additional points
towards the game you want to receive. Plus the first trade is free!
I'd be happy to answer any questions regarding the site and service.

So you make money facilitating the back and forth of games while the
publishers and developers get nothing.
sounds like a great plan to screw the game makers.
COOL!

The intention is not to screw the publishers...but to give the gamers
something different. Yes, the value proposition is $1 trades for games
and it will be frowned upon by publishers and developers. However,
based on our user base growth, I'd say a niche does exist where
consumers are demanding something cheaper.

Not really like Craigslist b/c our games values are predetermined with
a point system...there is no negotiating or buying bulk sets...
Otherwise, yes the community aspect of Craigslist is a great
benchmark...

The point system is nice but how does it get updated?
I prefer to trade my games on www.gametz.com, which has been around for
about 8 or 9 years. The site has the best user rating system out there
and the people on there who have been around a long time are
trustworthy.

Without giving away company secrets we frequently track current prices
and internal demand and supply to update...that being said, you won't
see much fluctuation in the short-term and hardly anything on a
day-to-day level...similar to any prices in a retail store, the prices
only change for specific reasons (sale, clearance etc...)
GameTZ is a great site, but offers a different service. They simply
connect members together and let them figure out the rest. Part of our
value is that you don't have to negotiate prices between people.
Let me know what you think of our site...
