to be honest looking at the screens and video footage, I mean it doesnt
look like THAT big an improvement over OPFP at all. it runs fluid on
machine so I imagine AA cant be any more a big a hit on my CPU.

Have no fear Boyce! OFP will be around for quite some time I think
and there are many addon makers still active, the latest RHS stuff
is awesome...

ArmA won't be out until Q1 2007 in major parts of EU and even later
in US/Canada (yea, I feel for you guys) so don't count out OFP yet,
it will eventually fade away but slowly.

I *hope* that OpFlash remains. I mean AA might actually be all bells and
whistles on top of OpFlash, in which case, well, pretty graphics does not
a game make. If I wanted a pretty game I'd go play something else.

Besides, our server is OpFlash and I'm not sure it will be able to cope
with what AA can throw at it. Also, I suspect AA will require us to all
upgrade our machines; I know two of us are/have already, but all of us?
Unlikely to happen.

We shall see, I guess. I suspect OpFlash will be around a while longer
yet. Whilst there's fun to be had in OpFlash, I'll play it.
