| So, aside from Tribes 1/2, which, if not dead, are on life support,
what games that you have played and liked are either hanging on by
their fingernails or are dead?
I'll start with Mechwarrior. Loved all of them, even 4. Capture the
flag in that was almost as good as Tribes.

Yeah, I'm aware, however I still like the original best (one day I
will figure out a way to play it online, perhaps involving Virtual PC
and some VNC programs.. In other words, overkill). Quite an untimely
demise, that poor Liero had.. >> Stay informed about: Good games gone dead |

Oh yeah, I loved Privateer. That game rocked. I'm trying to remember
if I played that in DOS or on windows. >> Stay informed about: Good games gone dead |

First one was for DOS. Think Privateer 2 was for windows, but not sure.
Was released during a timeframe where it could be either or. >> Stay informed about: Good games gone dead |

I play T1 every day
if anyone can post this information in places such as forums and web sites please, it will ensure tribes will live on.
For a free (legal) version of the game:
http://www.tribes0.com/trorbs.zip
(this is a full Tribes folder, just set path as C/Dynamix/Tribes and play, no need to install)
Also, directions on how to set the new master server:
