I've just downloaded the GMax Tempest package meant for editing Quake 3...

Does anyone know how to restore the GMax default settings in order to get
rid of the shoddy "replacement" toolbar? The toolbar that is provided
with Tempest has buttons that do not support any "normal" form of
right-clicking (important in the 3DMax series, where it opens a dialog that
allows precision placement of vertexes and objects), instead bring up a
Macromedia Flash menu.

Resetting the UI to the defaults doesn't seem to help - it seems that the
tempest interface touches more than what's normally reachable.

You might want to try asking in rec.games.computer.quake.editing
or at
