Yeah, but apparently you only get 99% of it, you don't get the bit that lets
you play it until the 31st (according to Snooty Sims anyway)

Raising my hand way up........I'm not buying it. I don't think I'll be
buying the Pets EP either. In the past few weeks, I've been out more
than a $1,000 (U.S.) on car and house repairs. OUCH!!!! There went my
leisure stuff monies. LOL

This pack does not appeal to me at all.
But I know that as soon as I see it in the store I will feel an irresistible
urge to buy it.

I certainly don't plan to buy it. I like the stuff in it better than
anything in the other two, but not enough to pay that kind of money for it.
I bought the holiday thing last year and that was more than enough. I
figure there's enough custom content out there to download that I won't be
likely to buy ANY object pack.

I will be buying Pets, though, as soon as it comes out. It's what I asked
for as my birthday present so I've got it coming for sure. LOL

I haven't felt any of the 'small' content packs were worth the money,
per se. But, I have found SIMS more than worth the money....and have
bought each pack just so I don't get annoyed by Maxis blocking pack
content on downloads of houses, etc. All in all, I don't mind giving
Maxis money for their great game(s). I just wish these tiny expansion
packs came remotely close to being a decent value on their own (cheaper
packs or better content).

I'm glad to know that I am not alone in this. I did that with the silly
family fun thing and probably will not resist with this one either,
eventually. I really don't know why as there are much better sets on the
web for free or much less cost. I know I wll preorder the pets module as I
loved them in Sims 1.

That's why I've not even gone to any game store or where the games are
at!! LOL I'll probably, even though I say I won't, end up buying PETS. I
might wait though to see what others say about it. Usually, I buy the
day it comes out but for some reason, my mind isn't quite on games right
now. I can't believe I said that!!

I personally couldnīt care less what other people thinks. Iīll buy it
and make my own judgement. And if I donīt like it.. I just sell it.

If you're out $1,000, how's that any different than being out $1,030?
