My latest region, Ghomralnd, has a population of 1.733 million people.
It's capital, Ghomraouia, is a dynamic business capital. It has a
population of 225k. Here are some statistiscs:
Commercial: 55k
Industrial: 8k (Mostly dirty & manufacture and a little of hi-tech)
Commute time: 80 minutes
Mayor Rationg: 100
Life Expectancy: 90 years
Res. Ave. Income: 50k
Crime:15
Education:195
Health is at it's best
However I like this city because it has a lot of hi rises and its very
well-managed. The problem is traffic, but that's ok. Nobody is
protesting. Comments and/or suggestions are welcome. >> Stay informed about: Welcome to Ghomrland! |

Give us some stats on your region and largest city then. Mine is tiny
compared to that:
Region pop:590,000
'Capital' (Craterville) pop: 300,000
I've heard of cities with 750,000 residents but can't see how that is
possible. >> Stay informed about: Welcome to Ghomrland! |

What size city is it? I understand there are three types; small, medium and
large - im talking about the large square you start off with before you name
the city. I tend to go with the medium size squares, coz my pc really lags
when i have a large one, not to mention a huge city as well - ur pc must be
good to be able to have everything like that and still make gameplay smooth
;jealous;

Well my capital is a medium size city. Also the largest city, Typhoon
Lagoon, is 260k in population. Oh and beside Ghomraouia relies
Workington, The second-largest commercial center in Ghomrland. It
houses 115k commercial jobs. My largest industrial city is Spaceville,
which houses 21k industrial jobs, all is hi-tech. >> Stay informed about: Welcome to Ghomrland! |

It is possible. I have a city with over 1,250,000 residents. It isn't pretty
but it can be done ;o)

My best is 1/2m on a medium city called "Yomi Isles". As the name
suggests it's a collection of islands (three), so about 1/3 space is
water (enough to get all the water rewards items).
Ironic thing is it wasn't meant to be the capital of the region. I
just high density zoned it and the city exploded!! The true capital
city is now seriously gimped. Now one seems to want to live and work
there now!!!
Traffic isn't a real problem. There are subway and all bus stops all
over the place. The subways massively overloaded though!! ^_^
Can't recall the stats but I know I don't have one single industry
job!! And lords know where all the low wealth pop work, since I have
bugger all CO$ and CS$ too. The city all commercial $$ and $$$.
Still got room to grow too as there are still loads of medium density
builds and not all the res buildings are full of people. Might need to
work on the adjoining cities to get the pop to grow yet again. >> Stay informed about: Welcome to Ghomrland! |

Yeah... I'd like a copy of this city so I can see it in action. The best
I've done is... 20,000 people. Sad isn't it?

These are old information. Now my city is more advanced. Ghomraouia
houses 235k population, 62k commercial, and 8.25k industrial. The
region now is 1.8 million population. I'll post some updated pics soon
on the topic in Simcity central... >> Stay informed about: Welcome to Ghomrland! |

I guess it depends on what you want to do. If the population is happy and
employed and the economy is in the black and stays there, I'm happy. >> Stay informed about: Welcome to Ghomrland! |
