I have put some uploads in alt.binaries.games.thesims - specifically 7 extra
skintones for the genetic (not custom) range.

Those didn't show up for me Mim. Not that I'm personally bothered as I
don't use those skins but others might miss them. Maybe it's because the
files are so large (skintone files are usually in the range 2-4MB).
Best wishes

Some of them are under 1.5MB, did you see the pictures I posted first? I
think that weird things happen in the binaries group, sometimes I see things
with attachments and sometimes I don't. Earlier today I saw a responce to a
post by Dracman (either here or in alt.games.the-sims2) and I still haven't
seen his post.

No - I didn't see the pictures either - just the links to Enalya's threads
at MTS2 - maybe they'll turn up later.

Oh, pooh, my upload has been rejected because "Enayla does not allow editing
of her skins without permission" Now I have to figure out how to let them
know that I have permission (because it's a 'do not reply to this email'

Well, after the oh so special treatment I got at the hands of the MTS2
moderators I've done something I swore I wouldn't do again. I've made a
webpage with Tripod http://merlinsnemesis.tripod.com/index.html so anyone
who wanted to see/download the geneticised versions of those Enayla skins go
for it.
Oh, and forgive the rough look. It's been ages since I built a webpage and
it shows.

My guess is that it was a auto response, no human looked at it.
May have been the ( ) that confused the auto responder.
MTS2 gets thousands of posts so humans are not available to review all of
them.

Looks fine to me. Does the job and is easy to read. What else matters!
So the auto-generated rejection can't be appealed?
I had a look at one on the links in the email, and I think I'd be annoyed if
I submitted a grocery store with a pitched roof, to be told they don't look
like that, it should have a flat one. They don't around here! They do have
gables and towers though.

It wasn't auto-generated (they made reference to the fact that I had tried
to upload it previously). I _tried_ to make contact to tell them ( the first
rejection) that I _did_ have Enayla's permission, but there's nobody to
tell. I could go annoying random moderators, but what would that do? I'm
sure there's only one or two that have anything to do with uploads, but they
aren't listed, or rather that responsibility is not listed, so there's no
one to appeal to.

Just the mention of not having permission convinced me that it was NOT
an auto-respose, it was very rudely personal.
