I bought C&C Generals Deluxe Edition from Amazon and
RedAlert2. (late 2004)
RA2 works fine no prob.

Generals Loads up a
the menu and I select install then I get a blue Installshield
screen, then I get a dialog box asking to click next then
an error which says cant find the C&C disk & I should load
the full game.
At no time am I asked for the Key(s)
I tried loading from the cdplayer/burner but no better.
I read that some keys (in 2003) were bad but if it does
not ask for them then what is going on?
I have an NVIDIA graphics which now has the latest driver
and 9.0c
Any suggestions?

I see there are two keys.
There is the option in the cd to enter the key for Zero Hour which
I did. But how do you register the key for Generals?
I tried registering with EA but it reprors I dont have an internet
connection. I have a broadband connection.
After entering the key for zero hour Installation still ends up with the
dialog C&C disc not found.
Help me pleese!

You need to install generals first and enter the key during the installation
where prompted. Then install zero hour and enter the serial..

If my experience is anything to go by though I would bother installing it at
all. The game is buggy and continually crashes to the desktop. EA claim it
is end users hardware which is odd as my (or many others) hardware has no
problem with other recent (EA and non EA) games.

It is a little weird, I have two computers, both far exceed the required
specs. Game works perfectly on one computer and not at all on the second. I
suspect it's the video cards that affect it, it works on the GeForce and
won't on the Radeon.
Just a guess there though, so don't hold me to it. Wink
