Assuming consternated means pissed-off.

Possible Spoilers Ahead

I'm at the end of the train level where you enter the codes, apply the
brakes, etc. I have no problems doing this in a timely fashion.
However, I can't seem to get by the five zombies that attack you after
the above mentioned events. I gues my questions are:

1) Must I kill all the zombies?

2) Kill some of the zombies, and flee fron the rest?

3) Just altogether flee?

4) Anything else that you can think of that will get me into the
training area?

Btw, I have no health items. Rebecca is in the yellow caution zone,
and Whats-his-name is in the green fine zone. Have enough ammo,
though..

Regards, and thanks for any advice.

Assuming you're talking about zombies still on the train when you're
racing to the back to enter the brake codes, you don't have to kill them
all, no. Just get past them, if you can, and you should still have
plenty of time. If you have plenty of ammo, put a few of them down, so
they don't hold you up. If you haven't killed the conductor yet, do so!
He'll end up following you all over (or so I've read, I always put him
down the first time I see him).

I've always killed absolutely everything that can be killed before
heading to the control room. That leaves only a few zombies that stand
up to attack on the way, and most of them can be brushed by or avoided.
And I've never had a problem running out of time for the brakes codes.

Now, if you're talking about the zombies on fire after the train crash,
you don't have to kill them either, but it's to your advantage to do so,
because anything you picked up and dropped on the train will be in that
room with the wrecked train. Once you've taken out the zombies, you can
go around picking up anything you'd dropped on the train. If you didn't
know that before, and had to not pick up stuff on the train, now you
know the secret. You can pick something up, drop it immediately, and
it'll end up in that room after the wreck.

Thanks. Yes, I meant the zombies after the train is stopped. I guess I
will have to find a way to massacre all the zombies, and collect all
the junk I left on the train.

There shouldn't be that many zombies, and as long as both your
characters are loaded with weapons (and your partner is set to attack),
it shouldn't be too hard to take them out. As to the stuff left on the
train, remember that you have to pick it up and drop it. Just seeing it
and leaving it won't do the trick. Also, there's a limited amount of
stuff each room is allowed to have in it, which varies from room to
room, so my advice is only to 'save' the things you really want to keep,
like weapons, ammo, and healing items. Once the zombies are taken care
of, you can transport everything to the facility's main hall, which
holds a lot of stuff for storage. Absolutely remember to take the
hookshot gun-thingie! You will definitely need that again later.

Lemme know if you need any other help. I loved RE:Zero, though I was
never really very good at it.
