Are the Gameboy Micro buttons quieter than those of a GBA SP? I tend to
get my gaming fix at the end of the day whilst I am in bed and my wife
is asleep, or trying to because quite often she will complain about the
'clickity click' noises my SP makes. If the Micro has quieter buttons
then I might have a suitable excuse to treat myself!

LOL. But where is the gadget-obsessed, card-bashing fun in ear plugs?

Actually, I've tried that (I snore apparently) but 'they are too
uncomfortable'. Honestly, there is no pleasing some people!

HAHA, I thought it was just me.

I have exactly the same problem.

I wait until she's asleep then I get left alone.

The things men get up to in bed! I find my micro to be very silent, though
I don't have your problem.

I bought a rubber cover for my micro (I know!) from Game and this also
covers the buttons which I think would solve your problem.

Do keep us posted.

Well my Micro arrived this morning and it is indeed a thing of beauty
and the buttons seem to be less clicky than the SP's (and the DS's
which
are even louder) which is good. It will get a proper field trial
tonight but I think that my late night games playing sessions are safe!
