Which Delta Force Game Now ?

Thanks Guys. That's a real pity. I really loved BHD. Does Battlefield 2
even come close, when playing as a sniper.
I didn't just find a spot and lie there, I used to move around a lot
too. I liked the graphics, the sound effects, the large(ish)
maps.

Prefer modern day multi play combat stuff anyway, I liked COD single
play alot. But for multi I prefer modern.

So really how is BF 2 ?

Does it have the satchel mines etc. I used to climb up on top of
buildings to snipe, and lay a claymore at the top of the ladder,
great fun when you hear somebody blowing up as they try to come up and
get you

As a sniper I am not happy with BF2. The weapons seem to take way to many
shots to score a kill, if they hit at all. I have been able to unlock the
M95 Barret, but it seems no matter where the crosshairs are I can't register
a hit, let alone a kill. Sniping in BF2 is a lot more realistic, I think.
You can hide without the dreaded black dot or "kill cam" we all saw in the
DF series. if the weapons would work better I would snipe all the time in
BF2.

BF2 is a computer intensive game. You really need better than the minimum
system it suggests to play it. There are claymores and C4 satchel packs you
can use. If you get into a good server it can get very frustrating to play,
but then that is half the fun.

All the GD guys are, for the most part, playing BF2 right now. A few still
tinker with Joint Ops.

Operation Flashpoint: Elite on the X-Box, but waiting for "Armed Assault" on
the PC. "Enemy in Sight" also looks good.

Thats interesting. Given the price of Xbox now, I could be tempted to buy
one just to play Operation Flashpoint: Elite. How does it compare to the DF
series and to Operation Flashpoint on the PC? Is playable on line? What is
the gameplay online like? Is it team based?
