drocket say (snip)>>>>"The outcome of downloading games .......expanded
selection, which in the end will improve quality (as trying out new ideas
will likely lead to innovations that may not happen.....).."
OOOHH I wish it would be so...but the advances in newer easyer tech. seems
to produce more an more of less and less ...eg TV in the UK ...there really
is less variety on more channels, The News media is more litttle trivel
headlines n less depth/detail/thought...increased ease of "content/product
delivery" makes it easy to chuck out same old safe junk and more of a gamble
for new "to-hard-to-bother", smaller possible audience/buyers for anything
unusuall..if 'they' can get enough sales with same old junk why bother
developing new risky stuff..?
Its seems totally contraditory to the rules of market, consumer choice
supply-and-demand, but a need to focus on producing a few big money
successes because the production cost/compexity/distribution is high and
difficult is is most likely to force/generate new ideas.
(with little choice) Mouse.
