I think both the PS3 and X360 have similar visual capabilities. And as
he said above, X360 has the superior library at the time.
But there are currently no significant flight or flight-combat sims for
either with the exception of Ace Combat 6 (X360). It's very much arcade-
orientied. I'll eventually get it when it's a $20 special, but not at
$60.
X360 has one good racing sim (Forza2) and a good racing *game* series
(Project Gotham Racing 3 & 4). PS3 will *eventually* come out with GT5,
which I'm sure will be fantastic, but no bets on when.
And from cursory research, I don't think they do a great job on sports
sims yet. See gamerankings.com for info on those.
So, I'm not sure you'll get much value out of either. I just bit the
bullet and purchased an X360.
