I recently saw a game I had never seen before. Wish I had used my
camera phone but didn't think of it.

So here are the details. The cab is very similar in shape to a
Breakout cab. The coin door had the big silver 'O's' around the coin
slots that some Asteroids have. There are big yellow/orange asteroids
all the way down the sides (maybe 4 or 5 of them). The game is b/w
raster. The monitor glass goes all the way from the CP to the top of
the cab.. no marquee. The CP looks VERY similar to space invaders.
Game play is that basically you are an alien at the top that needs to
get to the bottom of the screen safely.

Any ideas? I couldnt find any name on it.. Ryan

Nice Mark! Thats the game! Someone must have gotten REALLY creative
with a conversion. Still wonder what the cab is tho. What cabs had
big orange/yellow asteroids on the sides?

Could the cabinet be Atari's Avalanche?

http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=A&game_id=6976

I call that style of late 70s Atari coin door... "owl eye" coin doors.

Hope this helps!
