2 different Game Genie models for Genesis?

I notice there's two different looking GG's on Genesis. Which one
should I get -- or does it not matter? Does one play on model 1, and
the other model 2, or do both work fine on either model? I see 2
different GG designs on eBay, and there's 2 different ones also at my
local GameCrazy, was wondering which one should I pick up. One has the
green GG hue, the other doesn't.

As far as I know there is not difference between the black GG or the
gold GG. I have one of each, and haven't noticed any differences....nor
have I heard of any. Smile
