I am a fairly new player of Transport Tycoon, having only discovered it in
the last year or so. I recently downloaded TTDPatch 2.0.1 alpha 42, some
new graphics and TTDAlter, and ever since them my game seems to crash every
three months i.e 31st March 1977, 30th June and so on. If I start a new
game it works for a year but then starts crashing again. Can anyone help
me?

Thanks for replying to my message. I have had slight difficulty getting the massage because the computer I access the internet on is not the one I play TTDX on, and I have been away for a few days since then. However, I now have the crashlogs and have attached them to the massage. Thanks again for replying to the post so quickly! From what I looked at, I can only explain this crash if a refitting window is open at the time of the crash. I guess I need to look at the savegame itself. Sorry to be a bother, but it turns out that the crash files I sent were from an earlier problem that I corrected by upgrading to TTDPatch 2.0.1 alpha 42. They were when I tried to refit a train, but upgrading fixed it. It turns out that my current problem doesn't create a crashlog. As I said before, the game crashes every three months, but instead of displaying an error message, it just locks up and I have to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and end the process. Here are my three main savegames and my ttdpatch.cfg file. It might be worth noting that the game crashes on every game I play, including new games in any climate.
