GTS Globe question

Perhaps Yellow is a GTS trade location, and Blue is a Pal Pad
location?

I think it's either the last trade you did (since mine moves around)
or else you put up a poke and someone traded for it. Or a combination
of both.

That can't be it. My last trade was from Japan, and it's already
yellow. And there doesn't seem to be a yellow dot where the blue dot
was. It's just blank, unless I'm remembering the location wrong.

Ya, well I had two blue ones in Japan and now they are Yellow. I
think it might be where your poke that you put up for trade ends up,
but when you log back in and come out again they turn yellow. Or
looking at the globe they show blue the first time and then yellow
after that so you can see where your poke went. Because if I give you
a poke I can check to see where you are first, but you won't know
where I am since it does the trade with you not there.
