Hi All,
Can anyone remember a cheat for slowing down GTA III on the PC?
Some sites say "boooooring" will slow the game clock down, but it doesn't do
a thing for my version. Aussie.

Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks, Peter

No h00kers?

Doesn't sound like any GTA game I'd want to play if they've neutered it
down to hysterical levels. I can't believe people in Aus don't just get
the UK/US (dunno what system is compatible with Aus) versions instead.

au contraire. i buy all of my games from OS. it's not as simple as
Aussies being wowsers with violent games, it's a stupid by-product
of lazy politicians not fixing a broken classification system.
simply put, we (Australia) don't have an R-rating for games. it just
doesn't exist. so if you release an adults-only game, it either must
be edited (a la GTA III) or not released at all. our Office of Film
and Literature Classification (OFLC) cannot classify an adults-only
game if there is no possible classification for it. simple and
annoying. therefore the Australian adult misses out on great
experiences like hookers in GTA III.

Fair enough - I DO realise a lot of countries have stupid game ratings
laws. Does beg the question: what standard do you use in Aus?
It must be either NTSC or PAL. Therefore you >could< just order the
game from the US or UK and enjoy the mayhem like the rest of us. =)

We use PAL - but that is only really relevant when ordering DVD movies,
and even then most users can play DVDs from standard, any region Cool

re: GTA - Yes you're right , I ordered my GTA from NZ....... works
for me! Cool

It's relevant for console games - as they play through the TV.
