Archived from groups: alt>games>microsoft>flight-sim (more info?)

I used to practice GPS approaches in the FS2002 172. I decided to
"upgrade" to FSX. Imagine my disappointment upon finding that the FSX
GPS only gives distances to the nearest mile. That is not sufficient
for a GPS approach. Is there some way I can get the FS2002 GPS into
FSX? Since GSP is becoming more important, especially at smaller
airports, without a more accurate GPS FSX cannot be used for serious
IFR practice by general aviation pilots.
