The Fun-Filled Weeks Ahead

Hello there everyone,

There are many amazingly fun events going on after the exams. And here
they are:

1) The Deccus 3YGB

The Deccus is beng held at Birch Hall Field Centre, Langdale Forest, just
outside Scarborough, on 3rd-5th June (this weekend). There will a coach
to take us all there, leaving Dunelm House at 5:30pm on Friday. It will
also return us all there, leaving the site at 4pm on Sunday.
Alas, the coach ride costs 12 pounds each, in addition to the 3YGB fee (20
pounds players/5 pounds crew). Since it's VERY important that you all
cough up, we will be collecting the fees before you get on the bus - we
are willing to leave you behind if you don't pay. You have been warned.
Those driving can pay at the site.

2) Interactives And Adventures

There are three more Interactives this term on 9th, 16th and 23rd June.
Usual time, usual place.
Apart from the 3YGB, there will be two more adventures.

*The Road to Valhalla - An Away adventure. The details of this will be
sent out shortly.
*An as-yet-undisclosed adventure on 19th June.

3)The Summer OGM

There will be an OGM at some point in the next three weeks. Time and place
to be decided. Submit motions to Jeannette at j.c.l.ng.TakeThisOut@dur.ac.uk.

4) Summer Party

Alas, there will be no boat party. But plans are being made for another
interesting form of party. Again, details will be sent out as soon as
possible.

5) Debt Collection Time

Many people owe the society money. I will be collecting this money at the
next interactive - bring cash and be prepared to hand it over! After that,
I'm posting debtors adn the amount they owe on the Forums, just to help
them remember.

6) Adventure Writers Wanted!

Next term's adventure slots are available for booking. Just ask the refs
and write your adventure. Running adventures is good and fun and right and
therefore should be done - without adventure writers, there can be no
adventures.
