So, my wealth sim is in the stockmarket (new aspiration
thingamijiggie).

This thing triggers randomly, seemingly 50%'ish, at 4PM. It also works
when your sim is at their business lot. These profits and losses are
counted into the business. When my sim has a million simoleons or so,
I'm going to build her a skyrise building with a lone office at the
top, where she will sit and meditate and make stock market money lol.
Then I'll send her home, and... well... cash in the daily business
reward in addition. Should be fun to see how rich a sim can get
without actually cheating Smile

Be careful selecting this thing, because it cannot be undone. Gain or
loss is determined by your sims current cash pool.

Results so far: (rounded to nearest hundred) pool cirka 80-100,000

-no change
-2500
+3400
+1700
-no change
+3000
+1000

Conclusion: Far more positive than negative outcomes. The more stock
market sims you have on a lot, the higher the chance of success.
Success seems to yield 1-4% profit. Not enough failures to make a
conclusion, but probably around the same.

Most of the sims in my game don't work either, but that's because they are
mostly bums. LOL That's the main reason I bought BV, so being unemployed
could be a turn on.

I have myriads of unemployed sims as well. Mostly hicks, hippies and
gangsters... oh yes, I have an interesting neighbourhood...
